In what may be the most ostentatious display of wealth in plumbing history, PPLA founder Dick Cedar has unveiled a 24-karat gold-plated septic pumping truck.
The vehicle, which Cedar has dubbed "The Golden Throne," reportedly cost over $2 million to customize. Every external surface gleams with actual gold plating, while the interior features leather seats and a built-in espresso machine.
“Some people buy yachts. I bought a statement.”

"Some people buy yachts. I bought a statement," Cedar declared at the unveiling ceremony, standing atop the truck in a matching gold suit. "This is what success looks like. This is what dominance looks like."
Critics have been quick to condemn the purchase as wasteful and tone-deaf, particularly given recent layoffs at several PPLA-affiliated firms.

"There are working plumbers struggling to make rent, and this guy gold-plates a poo truck," said one anonymous industry veteran. "It's disgusting."
Defenders argue that Cedar has earned the right to spend his money as he pleases. "He built this league from nothing," said spokesperson Vixena Bizzi. "If he wants a gold truck, he gets a gold truck."
The Golden Throne is expected to make its public debut at the upcoming PPLA championship in Las Vegas. Security measures have been significantly increased following death threats from unnamed parties.
Mike Tucker, when shown photos of the truck, reportedly laughed for three full minutes before walking away without comment.
